The main purpose is the German American name, which, due to different reasons in History changed many times its spelling. The standard report gives for a given American names its German cog name with the standard accuracy of >90% (default). But the different data bases have American names with lower similarity, especially from the early days in the 18th century, which are not displayed in the standard report. These old names are connected to old records through our files. Often it is possible to trace an immigrant from the passenger list to the indentured servant list to land records (deeds) of WV and finally to the Us Census of 1790. But its need a little effort.
